Description
This is a fabulous and stylized panoramic vision
of a slice of southern Mexico City.
With the majestic volcanoes of Puebla in the background—
those eternal lovers from an ancient pre-Hispanic legend—
Chapultepec Castle stands proud of its history,
while the colorful trajineras of Xochimilco float
between air and water.
On top of the iconic Mexican pink tones,
the solidity of the Soumaya Museum, the Blue House,
the Luis Barragán Studio House,
and the National Museum of Anthropology stand tall.
Chepe’s work invites us to wander and dream
along the winding paths of the capital’s south.
